What a classic Triumph sells for at auction
4,666 Triumphs have sold at public auction since 1995, at a median of £12,098; the middle half of them made between £6,794 and £18,301. The sale rooms see about 517 a year and 77% of the cars offered find a buyer. The TR6 is the one that comes up most often, with 1,280 sales on record at a median of £13,850. The highest result is £258,750, paid for a TR2 Works in November 2019.
In 2025 the median classic Triumph sold for £10,084 across 538 sales, 9% down on 2024. In real terms, typical classic Triumph prices were down about 48% over the five years to 2025, once inflation is accounted for.
