6,916 MGs have sold at public auction since 1994, at a median of £10,736; the middle half of them made between £5,670 and £18,000. The sale rooms see about 703 a year and 76% of the cars offered find a buyer. The B Roadster is the one that comes up most often, with 1,698 sales on record at a median of £7,056. The highest result is £525,000, paid for a Magnette K3 in September 2024.

In 2025 the median classic MG sold for £8,570 across 816 sales, much where it was in 2024. In real terms, typical classic MG prices were down about 46% over the five years to 2025, once inflation is accounted for.
